Our suite is a quiet place to relax, away from the hustle & bustle, and only a mile from Canal Park, the Craft District and Downtown Duluth. Best of both worlds. We're right in the heart of the Duluth Traverse multi-purpose trail; ride or hike East to Lester Park one day, then ride West to Mission Creek the next day. Full access to the 450+ SqFt private 1 bedroom apartment. Private entrance, up 12 exterior steps, with smart lock code. Enjoy the views of Duluth from the private deck chairs & table. The private fire pit is also available for guests; we provide wood, but message us if we’re running low. Walk or bike 100 yards to a beautiful viewpoint and Duluth Traverse multi-purpose trail. Connect to the Superior Hiking Trail. 20-30 min hike to Enger Tower. Please message, call or knock on our door; we're available to help before 10PM. If anything needs attention please let us help you have a great stay. Spectacular views of Duluth. Centrally located on the 104 mile Duluth Traverse Trail system; go east one day and go west the next day. Check out the COGGS or Trailforks websites for maps and trail open/closure details. The Lincoln Park Craft District is 1.5 miles down the hill. Enjoy a craft beverage at: Bent Paddle, Ursa Minor, Duluth Cider Co, & Wild State Cider. Try some food at The Duluth Grill, OMC Smokehouse, Corktown Deli or Clyde Iron amongst others. The Canal Park area and Bayfront Park is only 2 miles away. Enjoy a summer concert, jump on the lake walk or cruise the shops at Canal Park. Uber & Lyft are fast to get you around the hot spots in Duluth. We have a 7 year old pet Boxer dog named "Aggie". Feel free to pet and play with her, but please don't feed her. She may jump & steal kisses if you let her. Also, she is not allowed in the suite.

The only issue we had was a broken pack and play for our son. Doran responded within a couple of minutes and got us a replacement well before our son’s bedtime. Other than that, the place was awesome. Loved the on property lookout spot and the trails at the bottom of the hill.

Our stay at Doran’s apartment was everything one could expect from an Airbnb - it was spotless, very thoughtfully stocked, nicely decorated, in a great location, with a very responsive host. Some highlights: the view from the overlook was spectacular, and the chairs and table made us want to linger there. The location was very convenient to pretty much everywhere in Duluth. The chalkboard walls in the unit were so much fun to look at and decorate, and made us feel connected to other Airbnb guests as well. The bed was easily the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at an Airbnb - I’ll be raving about it for awhile! Most importantly, Doran was the perfect host - friendly, extremely responsive (replied within a minute when I had questions about turning the heat on!), and encouraging our feedback on our trip. We will certainly be back again!
